Kathleen Kunkler has been President of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund Board of Directors for the last two years. It has been a time of unprecedented growth for the Fund, in the midst of global challenge.
Kathleen’s two years as President have been unlike any other. It seems she was the right person at the right time –someone who possesses the versatility to adjust to the times.
And Kathleen is nothing if not versatile.
Kathleen is a Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley. She is also lead singer of a band.
If you have attended the Kay Yow Cancer Fund Golf Classic in recent years, you have witnessed Kathleen’s heart and passion as she leads the annual paddle raise. Over the last four years, she has helped the Fund raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for research and programs that provide access to quality cancer healthcare for underserved women.
Starting with Coach Yow herself, the Fund has been blessed with great leadership. As we look toward our 15thyear celebration, it is important to consider all of the people who have made the impact of the Fund possible – today, as we do everyday, we find ourselves grateful.
Today, we celebrate Kathleen. Thank you, Kathleen, for all you have done and for all you will continue to do in the fight against ALL cancers affecting women.
