Thank you, Bojangles’!

Is there anything sweeter than a warm Bojangles’ Bo-Berry biscuit – you know, the piping hot goodness of a biscuit with blueberries baked in, dripping with a delicious glaze icing? Well…only a bo-berry that raises money for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund!

Over the last 6 years, Bojangles RDU has raised over $730,000 for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, one dollar, one Bo-Berry biscuit at a time.

The Bo-Berry campaign runs for several weeks each February during the runway to the Fund’s annual Celebration Run/Walk in Raleigh and Play4Kay movement nationwide. Patrons are encouraged to donate $1 to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund and, in exchange, they receive a free Bo-Berry biscuit – a true win/win.

Why? One man – Tommy Haddock. Tommy owns 53 Bojangles’ locations in the Raleigh-Durham area and uses his platform to make a difference in the fight against ALL cancers affecting women.

Tommy is that person. That person that gives before he is asked. That person who looks for ways to take something that started out great and make it even greater. He is the sort of person the fight against cancer needs – he is all in.

Thank you, Tommy, for your servant’s heart, generosity, and…for ALL the Bo-Berry biscuits!
