Every year in Emerald Isle, North Carolina a group gathers to celebrate. They celebrate the ones that fought cancer, the ones still fighting, and the impact we are making together. Fishin’ For A Cure creates the moments we hope advancements in cancer research will continue to preserve.
During a week of fun and fellowship, the crowd which has grown in numbers through the years, gathers and unites the community while raising money in the fight against cancer. To date, Fishin’ For A Cure has raised over $200,000 for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. It is an incredible number, that reflects the event’s even more remarkable spirit.
As we continue to countdown to the 15th anniversary of the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, we are so thankful for the impact of Fishin’ For A Cure – an event that truly unites people for a common cause.
